1920
31-35 Aborn Street is built. Early tenants include Joseph Dolce barber shop.

1945
Young’s Chinese American Restaurant advertises renovations at 35 Aborn Street, one of many Chinese restaurants downtown Providence at the time.

1993
Then owner, J & R Associates leases the property to the adult entertainment lounge, The Satin Doll, who operate out of the building through 2014

2015
AS220, downtown Providence’s leading cultural non-profit organization, purchased the property with plans to renovate for future performance space, but those plans were never actualized.

2018
Cornish Associates purchases the property from AS220 with plans to redevelop for retail/restaurant use.

2019
Led by Steve Durkee, the Cornish team made much needed structural improvements to the property and interior renovations to prepare a new restaurant.

2020
Opening of Durk’s Bar-B-Q.
