All of us at Cornish are delighted to welcome the community to enjoy the newly renovated Grant’s Block Park, located at the corner of Westminster and Union Streets.
The newly revamped park was completed in May 2024 thanks to the work of the Cornish Associates team in partnership with Ryan Associates and Union Studio Architects for the design, and Landscape Creations for the build. The new design includes the following:
- A 1,730 square-foot dog park, open every day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. (9 p.m. during summer hours)
- New custom cedar seating surrounding the perimeter of the park
- Beautiful new landscaping beds featuring 9 new trees and a variety of flowering perennial plants and shrubs
- Overhead string lighting and perimeter lighting, as well as improved lighting in the adjacent parking lot
- All new hardscaping throughout the park
The new park promises to be a wonderful addition to the Westminster Street Corridor.
