This holiday season, InDowncity, downtown’s go-to for what’s happening in the neighborhood, is collaborating with the Providence Tourism Council to bring you the inaugural PVD Downcity Holiday Market. The market will be held at the newly renovated Grant’s Block Park, at the corner of Union and Westminster streets in downtown Providence.
Happening over the first two weekends of December on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, Grant’s Block will transform into an enchanting outdoor holiday marketplace for locals and visitors alike to gather, shop, drink, eat, and support local businesses this season.
In addition to the market at Grant’s Block, nearby shops and restaurants will all be serving holiday cheer in the form of market day specials, curated gifts and holiday programming.
Take a holiday stroll down Westminster Street in beautiful downtown Providence to discover unique gifts, pop-up entertainment and activities, festive fare, and local artisans.

The Providence Tourism Council is currently accepting applications for artisans, shops, food vendors, retailers, entertainers and others who would like to be considered as participants in this year’s market. Applicants must have their business based in RI to apply. Application closes 11/01/2024. Space is limited. Note: This market is an outdoor event.
